Facilities & Accessibility

Welcome

We want everyone to enjoy The British Airliner Collection and have made sure our interpretations on board are accessible to children, adults and aircraft enthusiasts. We also bear in mind the partially sighted and those for whom English is not a first language

For those unable to board we offer a video presentation, in Hangar 1, of the entire Collection, inside and out with plenty of space to park mobility vehicles or chairs.

On the information boards outside each aircraft we show a QR code to access interior and flight deck views and archive footage of our aircraft flying and in some cases a film of its restoration.

We have a detailed brochure giving information about each of our aircraft and a Self-Guided Tour, especially aimed at those who want to understand more about the history of post Second World War flight and the steps by which aircraft design and technology developed.
